Sweet Alice formed back in the early 1980's playing Detroit's rock venues such as Harpos, The Ritz, Token Lounge and I Rock. When not playing in town they were on the road touring the southeastern states Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi eventually breaking up in 1995.

Guitarist Mark Jones decided to put the band back together. Bringing T-Bone back in on Bass guitar and adding Chuck Runyon as Alice, Steve Lukasik on drums and Michael Lafferty on keyboards. Putting together a setlist of Alices best classic hits and adding the theatrics, the band has been hitting the local clubs. In 2017 Sweet Alice was nominated for WDIV Channel 4's Vote For The Best in the Local Band catagory and took 1st Place.

Melissa Lily Lafferty was brought into the band using her acting and dancing skills to make our theatrics as close to Alices as possible. Nick Sortzi joined the band performing as the Executioner and Freddy. Sweet Alice performs 90 minutes to a 2 hour set and you will hear his classic hits from Billion Dollar Babies to Only Women Bleed and Under My Wheel to Feed My Frankenstein along with his theatrics like the electric chair, giant Frankenstein, smoke and confetti and Ballarina Girl for Only Women Bleed.
