Joey Vee is a Singer, Songwriter, and Entertainer who plays Modern Country, and Original Modern Country music is his live performances

Joey Vee was born on August 24, 1972 in Warren, Michigan. He started his first band at age 18. Joey went to College to become a Mechanical Engineer, while studying Engineering he continued performing and writing songs. Obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1998, Joey began taking his music career serious by going to any and all open mic nights at local bars. He would also persuade bands into allowing him to sit in and sing a song or two wherever the bands played.

In 2000, Joey Vee joined a band which played some Country songs but mostly pop songs and classic rock songs. The band performed all around Michigan. In 2001, while still with the band, Joey Vee found himself performing in Whitby, Ontario while traveling for work. Joey turned out to be a regular performer at various bars and venues in Canada while he was traveling for business. He began taking his guitar whenever he left town in order to gain experience in performing. In, 2006 Joey left the band in order to care for his father who was sick with Cancer. Joey began writing original songs which helped him cope with the stress. Joey started attending the local Michigan (NSAI) Nashville Songwriters Association International meetings on a regular basis trying to learn the craft of song writing. In 2006, Joey started booking shows as a solo artist. He put together a Country band and performed at various bars and festivals around town. In 2007, Joey took some time off from performing due to the passing of his father. After the passing of his father He found himself helping folks who were also struggling with cancer by giving advice. He even started spreading the word about cancer awareness and the risks of smoking. In August 2007 Joey Vee refined the band with new players that are well known to the Michigan music scene. Joey has frequently traveled to Nashville and performed at the CMA Festival three consecutive years. (2013,2014,2015). Joey and the Band has opened up shows for Randy Houser, Aaron Lewis, Due West, Krystal Keith, Lorrie Morgan, Ty Stone, and Lover Boy.

In 2015, he was nominated for a Detroit Music Award for “Best Country Vocalist”
