Freddy's Bar & Grill
Freddy Craprotta a local music fan with a big heart who knew how to party, opened Freddy's a true rock-n-roll bar in 2010. Unfortunately Freddy died in his sleep in the fall of 2012, leaving his family and staff shocked, and his plans for adding a music room on hold.
Keeping Freddy's dream alive, his family decided to continue to keep Freddy's Bar & Grill open and to continue to offer live entertainment each and every week. In the Spring of 2016 Freddy's plans for adding a music room were realized. The family transformed a side storage area and opened it up as a music room, doubling the amount of space to a total of 7,000 square feet.
The extra room has a state-of-the-art sound and light system, four TV monitors, a stage, enlarged backstage area and separate bar. A large painting of Freddy boasting more than 200 signatures of customers and friends serves as a focal point. Managers Joe Genova and Joseph Magolan, Freddy's Cousins said they wanted to retain the bar’s original friendly atmosphere but wanted to inject new life into it with the addition.
