About

Rachel Lee Williams is a singer-songwriter from Rochester Hills. Rachel taught herself guitar and began writing songs at age 13. She then cultivated an interest in piano and was classically trained by Nina Flanigan who is an Adjunct Instructor at Oakland University. Rachel's music straddles the lines between pop and country, and her lyrics come from the heart. Her 2012 debut EP "Lock and Key" was produced by Detroit music legend Stewart Francke, who has worked with Bruce Springsteen, Mitch Ryder and The Funk Brothers, to name a few. In 2013 Rachel performed in and contributed original songs to the soundtrack of the feature film "Approaching Midnight" which features rising country star Jana Kramer.

Rachel performs regularly in the Detroit area and also is available for private singing and piano lessons
