Miles on the water is a family owned restaurant and is a high end smokehouse with a scratch kitchen. The new owners, David and Sarah Pierno wanted to stay away from a bar-and-grill moniker so they named the restaurant Miles on the Water, after their 3-year-old son Miles.

One of the first things David and Sarah did was hire an amazing chef Chad Barrett to revamp the menu. Barret, took home a $16,000 prize when he won a shopping and cooking competition on the Food Network show "Guy's Grocery Games," starring Guy Fieri in 2017.
