Michael May began his playing on guitar while in high school, but soon picked up the harmonica after being awe struck by John Popper of Blues Traveler. While still in college, he nurtured his interest by attending concerts and clubs, following harmonica driven bands and soaking up all the impressions he could. He soon found himself under the tutelage of Dave Morris from the Ultrasonics. After an acoustic duo stint of 18 months and some gigs with other bands Mike to infused his talents w/others and formed Blue Infusion in November 2000, which later morphed into The Messarounds in late 2005.
