About

Metro Jazz Voices has been called Detroit's answer to Manhattan Transfer and is composed of 4-part harmony vocals and a combo of piano, bass and drums, with saxophone, flute, cello and guitar added by 2 of the singers. Winners of the 2014 Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Traditional Jazz Group, the group straddles the line between finger-popping American Songbook classics and jaw-dropping modern Jazz Vocalese with elegance and aplomb.
