Laith Al-Saadi doesn't dance. He doesn't preen, has a long beard and long hair. He doesn't sing Bruno Mars songs. Instead, he employs a powerful, well-trained voice and phenomenal guitar skills to perform authentic rock, soul and blues music.

In 2016, Laith Al-Saadi won America’s hearts and made it to the Top 4 of the highly competitive show NBC’s The Voice. “Laith is one of the most diverse talents we have,” said Maroon 5 frontman and “The Voice” coach Adam Levine. “Incredible guitar player' Incredible singer.”

Biography

Laith Al-Saadi was born October 4th 1977 and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Al-Saadi displayed his talents at a young age, learning to sing with the Boys' Choir of Ann Arbor when he was four, and taking up the guitar at age 13.
As a student of Ann Arbor's Community High School, he played in the school's jazz band, and at 15 formed his first blues band, "Blue Vinyl". By the time he was 18 years old they had opened for Blues greats like Buddy Guy, Luther Allison, Son Seals, and Taj Mahal and toured the Netherlands. After graduating from High School, Al-Saadi attended the University of Michigan where he received a degree in Jazz Guitar and Bass. During his college years, Al-Saadi was a member of the Johnny Trudell Orchestra and freelanced with many of Detroit's greats like Thornetta Davis, Jocelyn B, The Reefermen.

In 2004 Al-Saadi was the lead singer/guitarist of the Detroit Lion's pep band. Since 2000, Laith Al-Saadi has enjoyed growing success as the Detroit area's premier singer and guitarist.

His 2016 appearance on NBC's "The Voice" opened the door to legions of new fans that propelled his release, “Real,” to the top of the charts. Now he’s poised to bring his authentic blend of blues, soul and classic rock to audiences around the nation and the world.
