About

The Lafayettes are a modern motown-inspired girl group reminiscent of the Supremes, Tina Turner and Ikettes. Starting out as a back-up complement to the original Detroit-based The Bus Stop Poets in 2015. In 2016, the Lafayettes continued building the band, and added the third female vocalist to make the group complete. Each vocalist brings her unique style to the band's sound, which is reminiscent of the many Motown girl-groups that were popular in the 1950's through the 1970's.

The performances of the Lafayettes combine stellar musicianship, three-part harmony, choreography, and personality to bring their own modern flare to the Motown sound
