Jerry Luck School Of Music
JLS root's go back to 1949, when East Detroit Conservation of Music was established. Jerry Luck started as a teacher there in 1960 and left in 1976, as its studio director and VP. In 1982 he returned to re-establish EDC with the name "Jerry Luck Studios" and remained at this location for 12 years. In 1994 JLS moved to its present location and continues serving the community with years of professional experience. JLS stands for the highest ideals in music education, modern teaching methods and facility, motivational programs, quality instruments and service. More JLS students achieve success because they are given a goal, as well as the means to attain it. JLS is a member of the American Guild of Music, and Eastpointe Chamber of Commerce, and advocates all activities that upgrade teaching.
