Blue Goose Inn
The Blue Goose Inn is a Bar in St. Clair Shores that has been operating in its current location since at least 1910; at that time it was a saloon and grocery owned by John Green, Jr. and his wife Ida. It ran that way until the end of Prohibition. When Prohibition ended, it cashed in on that opportunity to change form and became the Blue Goose Inn,
the forerunner of the bar and restaurant it is today.
Known for the Blues, the Blue Goose Inn has Live Music.
On Friday & Saturday Nights it features popular regional bands suitable for dancing. Sunday and Wednesday nights features "Jam Nights" where after the Band's First set, musicians can get up on stage and Jam with the band.
The "Goose", as the regulars call it, has a full menu including daily soups and specials.
Every Tuesday features authentic homemade Mexican specials.
Popular menu items include the Perch Platter, Icelandic Cod Fish & Chips served either broiled or fried and the Big Blue, a double decker cheeseburger.
