Doom pop is a genre that mixes the slow and sombre sound of doom metal with the catchy melody and accessible style of pop music.

Hannah, Mark, Mary, and Ted met in detention a few years back. They were all there - the goth, the dweeb, the burn out, the rich popular girl, and the psycho. They went to a haunted house, where one of them died. The remaining had nightmares about each other and started the band soon after. Blood Stone's songs are influenced by the sound of the oohing of ghosts, the ahhing of people screaming running away from ghosts, and the howling of a black cat at midnight.
