Bernadette Kathryn is the real thing and she proves it magnificently with her lyrics and vocals Turn on the spotlight, give this girl a microphone and stand back. Bernadette Kathryn has been taking control of the stage since she was 5 years old. Normally known as the shy girl who sits in the back of class and reads, this teen Nashville recording artist is turning heads of industry professionals throughout the Midwest, Kentucky and Tennessee.

With her classically trained voice, this young powerhouse looks up to the queens of country, Patsy, Reba and Loretta. She also enjoys the sassy bad girl vocals of the Dixie Chicks, Gretchen Wilson and Miranda Lambert.

In 2012 at the age of 12, Bernadette Kathryn started writing and recording her own music starting with her original song “Look at Me Now” which is about the issues she faced in school when she was bullied about her music. She turned that song into a music video with the help of 40 students from 9 different school districts. This music video can be found on YouTube with over 33,000 views. It has won the Channel 4 Click on Detroit and Sam Bernstein Award for Putting an End to Bullying. She was also invited to be a part of the Tunes for Tots Worldwide fundraising division for several children’s charities including the Make a Wish Foundation
