The Aspersions are a two-piece acoustic cover duo. Rich Scalzi on vocals and percussion and "60's Rick" Rabior on vocals and acoustic guitar. Perfect for the "fifty-something" The Aspersions cover songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's, classic rock, AM Gold, and Billboard Top 100 hits the way you remember them.

Rick met Rich Scalzi when he was brought in to do lead guitar for the Elvis tribute group, where they hit it off immediately. They worked again together in Blind Weasel and the Vinyl Four, additionally, starting the Aspersions their own 2 piece acoustic project.

"Sixties Rick" Rabior has been performing with various local Detroit area groups for 35 years, currently specializing in rock and roll covers from the 50's through the 70's.

 





Rich Scalzi

Rich Scalzi has played in several metro-Detroit bands throught the past 15 years (including The Altin Bros., Hollandbeck Laundry, Bungalow Junkies, Project Elvis, Blind Weasel, among others) contributing drums, percussion, vocals, and guitar work. His love for 50's & 60's rock-n-roll shines through, as he prides himself on delivering a performance "as close to the original" as possible.
