About

On February 16, 1855 Peter Voorhies purchased the property from U.S. Government. He in turn sold the property to Jacob Phoebe Smith in 1899 who sold it to Lewis E. Adams who constructed the White Lake Inn in 1919. The White Lake Inn went through a few owners before being bought the current owners Paul and Elizabeth Caldwell, who purchased the location in 2007. Located on White Lake it has continued to be a gathering place for generations of people who enjoy the friendly atmosphere which includes casual dining, weekend entertainment and dancing, volleyball and Summer/Winter outdoor sports. Being directly on White Lake, the Inn boasts a large outdoor patio and Tiki bar, as well as nine docks (room for 18 boats), so visitors can simply pull in from the lake for lunch or a drink. Every Friday and Saturday night White Lake Inn host amazing Metro Detroit bands that are perfect to dance to.
