The music Rye Whiskey creates through covers and originals are energetic, engaging, and upbeat. The show they put on is even more so. The band likes to have fun and interact with the audience in many ways, usually ending up off stage with the fans. The band shows their love of music and entertaining through energetic and interactive performing. The energy at each show is enormous.

Rye Whiskey made their debut in June 2014 and hasn’t looked back. They started out playing a charity event with Relay for Life, and quickly turned that into a supporting act for national touring artist Gunnar and the Grizzly Boys, only 3 months later. The summer of 2015 was even brighter, including two trips to Nashville Tennessee and an opening act for Female Vocalist of the year nominee, and new artist of the year nominee, Kelsea Ballerini. The show drew a crowd of 22,000. The Band finished up 2015 competing in the Nash Next competition, a nationwide search for the next country superstar. Over 7,900 bands entered the competition. The Rye Whiskey band finished in the top 25 of the competition, one round short of the finale and the highest placing Michigan band.
