About
Naysayin is a 5-piece band who are influenced by artists such as Frank Zappa and Kendrick Lamar. The music is a fusion of Funk, JAzz, Hip-hop, and Rock all delivered with a theatrical front man who can work the room. Instrumentation consists of: Bass, Guitar, Keyboards (who double duty's on Trumpet), Drums, and Vocals. Naysayin combines music school chops with abstract and creative lyrics and messages. Booty-shaking groove is always present while harmonies and melodies also feed the mind.
Naysayin provides extraordinary experiences for their audiences through sound and visual art augmented with props to create an absurd carnival experience; and the combination of a wide musical vocabulary with a conscious life narrative to feed the body and soul.
