The Music Messengers are a two-piece variety cover band from the Detroit area featuring Dennis Vernier on vocals, guitar, harmonica and bass pedals with Rob Schneider on drums and various other percussion instruments. The Music Messengers perform a wide variety of popular music including Classic Rock, Oldies, Country, Island, Reggae, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Folk, Ethnic and Originals.

Playing professionally since the early 80’s, Rob Schneider is an energetic versatile diverse drummer-percussionist. He currently plays a beautiful vintage 1962 Slingerland red sparkle 4-piece kit. Dennis Vernier

Dennis Vernier has been playing professionally since the 70's as a creative guitarist, vocalist and musical stylist performing in local venues and for special events in a wide variety of musical settings. He plays a vintage late 60's Epiphone Casino electric guitar, electric 12-string and 6-string acoustic guitar. In addition, he plays harmonica and bass pedals giving the band an amazingly full instrumental sound. Dennis most recently added the new Vocalist 3 vocal harmonizer for a complete vocal harmony sound as well. Not only does he perform a wide variety of popular cover songs from many different musical genres, he also writes and performs his own songs.
