About

Merge L-R: Bruce Karry, Chuck H, Joe Marocco, Lisa Porter, Pete Costantino, Joe Marocco, Rick Hren

Merge was formed by three former members of Opie's Dream (1998 Detroit Music Award nominee) and Mid-Life Crisis: Pete Costantino (bass/vocals), Rick Hren (drums/vocals), and Bruce Karry (keyboards/harmonica/vocals). Lisa Porter (lead vocals), Joe Marocco (sax/flute/percussion/guitar/vocals) and Harry Bourlier (Lead Guitar) round out this dynamic group of musicians.

These Motor City music veterans have performed with the likes of Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Steve King (Eminem), and Jeff Berlin (Yes, Van Halen, Pat Metheny) just to name a few. The joy they feel while performing spills over to their audience. They have fun and so have the thousands of people they've performed for at countless fairs, festivals and other venues.

The Merge playlist features hits from the 1950's to today. They have a wealth of experience to draw on and it shows !
