The Family Funk Band is a Detroit based funk band and is comprised of some of the Detroit areas finest musicians.

Evan Perri whose the leader of the Hot Club Detroit, Jimmy Smith, Chuck Bartels and James Hughes of the Hughes Smith Quintet, Marcus Hunter of Detroit Soul Rhythm, Matt Martinez, who also plays with the Woodward Horns and Wills Sessions and Mark Lotus on keys. who is one of the owners of Black Lotus Brewing Co.

The Family Funk Band plays the last Thursday of each month at the Black Lotus Brewing Co
