River Days is a 3-day festival takes place on the Detroit RiverWalk every year in June. Activities aimed at widening the experience on the riverfront, as well as live concerts, River Days span the Detroit RiverWalk from the Port Authority just east of the GM Renaissance Center to William G. Milliken State Park and Harbor, Michigan’s first urban state park, major arts destination, now flourishes as one of the leading multi-arts festivals in the country.

The Detroit RiverFront Conservancy began the festival in June 2007 to introduce the community and visitors to the transformed Detroit International Riverfront. The festival marked the opening of significant portions of the new Detroit RiverWalk and the festival has continued each year to spotlight our magnificent resources and this new destination in the city of Detroit.
