The Detroit Drive is Detroit's Newest up and coming top 40 Cover and Variety band. The Detroit Drive plays a blend of current hits and band standards across genres.
"Typical cover band" is not what you get when see them. They play the tunes that will keep you dancing all night long
Founded in February 2016 they claim to be Detroit's Newest Energetic Top 40 Dance Cover Band.

AJ has a self-described eclectic taste in music. With a background in musical theater and classical music, she is no stranger to the stage. She can always be found toying with a new instrument. While vocals are her passion and true wheel house, she dabbles with guitar, ukulele, melodica, flute, clarinet, keys, and drums. When not busting out a tune with The Detroit Drive, she can be found spending time with her fur babies or crafting. AJ's current favorite The Detroit Drive cover is Kesha's Die Young.

Jim keeps The Detroit Drive groovin' with those solid bass lines. He has been a regular on the Detroit music scene for many years, and is a seasoned pro. In addition to laying down bass and vocals, Jim is the ultimate tech guy! He keeps the tracks coming and the audio available to the crowd. Jim's current favorite The Detroit Drive cover is Spin Me Round.

Owen is a pro guitarist that has played in projects of varied genres including rock and country. He is the resident comedian of The Detroit Drive, hence you rarely catch him with a microphone. Owen's current favorite The Detroit Drive cover is Crazy Train.

Jeff is the missing puzzle piece that completed The Detroit Drive lineup! Some years back, Jeff and Jim played together in their very first band! Jeff's current favorite The Detroit Drive cover is Poker Face.
