The Dearborn Big Band

The Dearborn Big Band is a Swing-era band with 5 saxophones, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets along with piano, bass, guitar and drums. Specializing in the Big Band hits of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey and many more legendary conductors, the Dearborn Big Band has a been performing for Dearborn residents for several decades. The DBB also features both male and female vocalists throughout their performances.
Under the direction of Donald McAlpine, the Dearborn Big Band performs classic selections, popularized by legendary swing artists such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller and featuring songs by Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra and the Great American Songbook.
